Sorrelli Jewelry, with locations in Allentown and Kutztown, has temporarily shifted their focus from jewelry making to mask manufacturing. As the COVID-19 crisis has spread across continents, they’ve received countless stories about mask shortages from their friends in the healthcare community. The need for masks in Pennsylvania and throughout the country is critical to help hospital staff treat patients while preventing the spread of the virus. The management team at Sorrelli decided to use their excess capacity in their Shanghai factory to pivot, and make masks instead of jewelry.
